Hello !

Sylvain Andrey, of Swiss origin and established in the Friborg region in Nierlet-les-Bois, I am a professional musician (classical percussionist) by trade. My training began in Lausanne with a Bachelor's degree as well as a Master's degree in pedagogy at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne (HEMU). My journey then continued in Zürich for a second Master's degree at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK). 

Currently I am a teacher at various institutions such as the Bern University of the Arts (HKB) where I give a seminar to Master's students on the creation of one's own teaching materials, as well as at the Allgemeine Musikschule Oberwallis (AMO) where I teaches classical percussion as well as drums. 

At the same time, I am a permanent percussionist in the City Light Symphony Orchestra located in Lucerne and thus specialized in live film music. I also play as an additional musician with renowned orchestras such as the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra (OCL, conducted by Renaud Capuçon), the Basel Sinfonieorchester (SOB) and the Berner Symphonieorchester (BSO).

Finally, I am active as a composer, on commission, and arranger for the company Hits in Percussion (HIP).

My passion for astronomy has always evolved in parallel with my musical pursuits until finally taking the step into practice. I then quickly realized that the necessary skills are numerous and varied and therefore that the search for useful and concrete information was laborious. Thanks to my teaching skills and my specialty which is to create educational content, I notably wrote two works devoted to the study of classical percussion, I decided to bring together all the knowledge that I personally needed as well as those useful to the problems of other amateur astronomers who posted them on forums and social networks. Thus the site www.astrophotographieonline.com was born.

My ambition through this website is on the one hand to help all those interested to take the plunge and start astrophotography in the field. By channeling all the necessary information onto one platform and into various thematic lessons, learning is more efficient, simpler and more enjoyable. On the other hand, the goal is also to offer training and solutions based on the concrete problems encountered by users and thus help as many people as possible to practice this hobby without frustration due to defective cables, poor connection or settings. unsuitable.

As in music, sharing with as many people as possible is at the center of my values.
